Well, I notice that my last posting was way back on Monday so I feel I should write something. Hmmn, well, what to write? I'm starting to get that "I need a holiday" feeling again, which is bad as it's only 3 or 4 weeks ago that I had one but it feels more like 2 months. Work is getting a bit hectic, I'd like time to finish a given task before starting another, rather than trying to do 8 simultaneously! It makes me feel confused, I lose focus and thoughts regarding other tasks pop up whilst I'm doing something else. I think I'll take a day's holiday soon. I'm longing to get back out on my bike. Last month I had a little accident, nothing serious but it's just taken an overly-long time to heal. Apart from cuts and things the main problem was that I strained my thumbs pretty bad. That has made me think twice about going out on my bike since I couldn't easily change gear or get a good grip on the bars should I need to brake sharpish :o) My thumbs are still crook (to borrow an Australianism) but I'm sick of being stuck in the flat. I'm just waiting for the rain to stop some day! I need a haircut. It's Halloween today, but I forgot to buy any sweets for the little (and not so little) kids that knock on your door in costume holding large root vegetables with gruesome faces cut out of them (the turnips, not the kids). But, it's just as well since none called :o| My landlord is not going to replace my dodgy fridge, despite it having ruined one batch of food already. I have to wait until it does it again, which is nice. I've put on a couple of kilos in weight, probably because I'm not exercising. So, I guess I'll cut out the orange chocolate chip muffin I buy from the "sandwich man" at work every morning. Maybe I'll have an early night, a long and restful night's sleep would be nice!
