Well, I'm now back in Bath after another 5 and a half hour train trip. It's quite a relief to see that the flat is OK and that I've not been burgled or that the faulty fridge-freezer hasn't burnt down the house. Sigh. It's been nice to see the family, and to have a couple of genuinely enjoyable days out with the folks. The peace and quiet has been the most enjoyable part though and the refreshing of my mind's eye of the wilds of the Pennine foothills. Now to stay calm until I next go back at Christmas!
