Whilst writing this, just heard a commotion outside my window that sounded like someone falling over and kicking a pair of metal stepladders. By the time I got outside and had a look whoever it was had gone, and they'd just acquired the VW badge off of a Golf (I assume it's from one parked just outside). There's half a front grille wedged in our railings and the other half is lying on the pavement. Looks like they somehow managed to pull the grille off of the car and then used the railings to bend it until it snapped and the badge fell out. Perhaps now I realise why the biggest motor insurer in the country quoted me over ?1000 for a 4-year old, 3dr 1.2ltr Fiat Punto. Riding out on my bike tonight I lost count of the number of fresh piles of shattered safety glass I rode over/around. Maybe aspiring for a car right now is a bad thing.

I'm currently feeling ok
